There are many beaches on both inner and outer side of the island of Pag. They are placed in Stara Novalja, Novalja, Šimuni, Košljun, Povljana, Smokvica, and Vlašići. There are some very interesting beaches away from the settlements, such as Goriška draga, Mali zaton, Veliki zaton, Malin, Baška slana. The biggest among them and the best equipped one is Zrče, not far from Novalja. You can find some great lounge bars, restaurants and amusement centers on Zrče and you can spend your summer evenings there.
An especially interesting and beautiful beach is Sveti Duh. It is the only beach on the island with the sand underwater. The sand on Sveti Duh is gritty, soft and very pleasant. We recommend it especially to the families with children for its shallow water that stretches almost 50m from the beach.
